A lot firmer than I expected.

I chose this mattress base on the description since I chose the mattress online. I had been reading online to try to choose the best fit for me and its said that medium would be best for me since I'm overweight and a side sleeper but my husband is a back sleeper and also overweight. To my surprise w...hen the mattress arrive, it was a lot firmer than I thought it would be. Like a lot firmer. The first night trying to sleep on the new mattress was hard, I tossed and turn all night. The second night was better but not by much. I looked online and read that it can take up to 1 month to break the bed in and for it to be more comfortable. It has been almost 3 weeks since I received the new mattress and I still think it's firm. This is not at all what I thought medium would be like. I sleep through the night now but I still waking up with some back pain because I don't think the mattress is supportive enough for me as a side sleeper. My husband said that he like the new mattress and that he has slept much better. Overall, I thought the mattress would be softer since it's a medium but I guess I will just have to get used to this mattress. Maybe if I'm really lucky, the mattress will break in even more and be more comfortable for me.
