FAQs & Return Policy

What is your return policy?

We offer a 120-Night Sleep Trial. We’re confident in our Sleep Consultants' abilities to match you with the perfect mattress for your body type and budget. If you find your purchase isn't the mattress of your dreams, we've got your back.

It generally takes 8 - 10 weeks to properly break in a new mattress along with allowing time for your body to adjust to a new sleep surface, especially if your old one was out of shape. Once your new mattress is delivered, our 120-Night Sleep Trial comfort guarantee requires you to sleep on it for 30 days. If you are not completely satisfied, you have an additional 90 days to come back into any Sit 'n Sleep location and select another mattress of equal or greater value. A 20% restocking fee (not to exceed $500) may apply.

In addition to exchanges, Sit 'n Sleep now offers returns on select brands: Purple, Nectar, Avocado, Helix, Casper, and DreamCloud. Returns will be charged our $69.99 delivery fee and no restocking fee.

The 120-Night Sleep Trial does not apply to closeouts, floor samples, or if your product is found to be dirty, stained, or abused.

For non-mattress products: Sit 'n Sleep will offer a refund provided the product is brand new and still in its original manufacturer packaging. If the product has been opened or used, Sit 'n Sleep will work with the customer to request a warranty replacement or repair if there is a defect, following manufacturer’s warranty guidelines. The warranty could be voided, if the product is found to be unreasonably unsanitary or abused by the customer.

Will you really "beat anyone's advertised price or your mattress is freee?"

At Sit 'n Sleep, we're known for our famous tagline: "We'll beat anyone's advertised price, or your mattress is Freeee!" Since 1978, we’ve backed this promise with confidence, though we don’t have to do it too often because our pricing is already so low.

Here’s how it works:
At the time of purchase or within 30 days, if you provide proof of a lower advertised price, we’ll beat it. This applies to mattresses advertised via radio, TV, newspaper, or internet, provided the mattress is from the current model year, and the same manufacturer’s model is being sold at Sit ‘n Sleep.

Requirements:

  • * Price guarantee must include all costs: tax, delivery, installation, and removal.
  • * Discontinued, irregular, blemished, pre-owned, floor samples, or damaged mattresses are not eligible.
  • * The product must come from an authorized, licensed dealer with a full manufacturer’s warranty.
  • * The guarantee is valid only for mattresses sold in Southern California.

Our deals are amazing, but if you find a better one, we’d love the chance to earn your business!

Do I need to buy a new box spring when buying a new mattress?

The boxspring is designed to work together as a set with your new mattress. We do not recommend using an older, non-matching foundation as it may not provide sufficient support and void the warranty on your new mattress. There are several types of platform bed frames that may not require the use a box spring, in which case we recommend a Bunkie Board or Ultra Low profile foundation.

How long will a new mattress last?

The average lifespan of a mattress is eight to ten years, depending on the quality, type of mattress and frequency of use. As we go through life, our lifestyles and bodies change, mattresses should be evaluated regularly for comfort, support and quality. Your mattress should always feel comfortable to get the best night’s sleep and support possible. If you find the quality of sleep you are getting is not the same as it was six months earlier, are experiencing aches and pains, it may be time to get a new mattress.

At Sit ‘n Sleep, our Sleep Consultants can help you get custom fitted, using our Bed Match technology, to find the right mattress to fit your sleep needs.

Why do I need a mattress protector for my new bed?

We carry a wide variety of mattress protectors designed to inhibit bedbugs, allergens, dust mites, mold, mildew, bacteria, body oils and dead skin cells from accumulating in your mattress.
