Be extremely skeptical of any review that claims to have slept well on the first night, as Casper recommends you air the mattress out for multiple days. Speaking of which, the out-of-the-box smell is actually unbearable. My apartment is genuinely unusable so long as this mattress is in my bed room...

An upgrade from a Beautyrest Black the Dream is comfortable supportive and our sleep has improved. It's firm but still very comfortable when you sleep on your side or back. My wife sleeps on her stomach and she loves the mattress. Well worth the money which by the way is less than the major brands.

They say it takes weeks to adjust to a new mattress, but after only a few nights I could honestly cry with relief. Only now, waking up pain free, do I realize how much my previous mattress was hurting me. If you're a side sleeper, if you toss and turn or wake up from lower back pain, do yourself a favor and get the Dream. The firmer center band keeps you from sinking in, keeping your spine aligned and eliminates lower back pain. I may never get out of bed again.

Mattress shipped quickly and was easy to set up. We let it expand for 48 hours before using. The mattress is very good quality and comfortable. It was a little firmer than I expected, but that also could be because we were used to a very soft pillow top mattress. Overall a very good mattress.

We just set up the bed yesterday - was pretty cool seeing the bed expand as soon as we exposed the mattress to air. The weird smell didn't linger too long - and first night sleep was pretty good. A lot better and firmer than our previous bed.
